Ford Brings Back Classic Truck Nameplates, Slates Release of New Ranger and Bronco

Ford has a couple of new models coming soon, and off-road enthusiasts near Rayville and West Monroe, LA ought to be excited.

In the next two years, the auto industry will see the return of two famous nameplates: the Ranger and the Bronco.

2019 Ranger: After decades of production, Ford pulled the plug on its Ranger midsize pickup in 2011. Now, Ford is bringing the model back to compete in the resurgent segment. The 2019 Ranger will be an all-new design. It's a true truck with body-on-frame construction and offers a range of exciting features. A 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine will be standard for every Ranger, and four-wheel drive will be available.

Bronco Coming in 2020: The original Bronco models impressed off-road enthusiasts for decades, and it's been long missed by members of that community. Well, now there's cause to celebrate. The Bronco will return in 2020 with an all-new model. Not much has been revealed about the new Bronco, but we know it will come with four-wheel drive and a slew of other features aimed at all-terrain prowess.
